About the Role
Career Teachers are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DN5 area of Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Nursery setting, supporting early years development and making a real difference in children's lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to the class teacher and pupils in the Nursery.
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to early years learning.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure inclusive practice.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher.
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support children's development.
Skills & Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an early years or primary school setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Ability to adapt to individual needs and provide SEN support.
