We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Maths Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Chesterfield on a temporary basis until December 2026- Potentially.

- Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm
- Contract:Temporary until December 2026
- Start Date:September - Depending
About the Role
You will be working with children and young people who have a range of complex special educational needs, providing a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be committed to helping every child reach their full potential through tailored teaching approaches and positive relationship building.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and challenging behaviours.
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
