Are you passionate about igniting creativity and fostering artistic expression in young minds? Career Teachers are recruiting for qualified QTS or PGCE Art Teachers who provide a stimulating and inclusive environment where students can explore their creativity. This will be to work within schools based around Sheffield and surrounding areas. These will be to work on either a full-time and long-term basis or part-time, day to day basis. Whether you have multiple years of teaching experience or you have recently completed your studies, we want to hear from you!

To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level, with a genuine passion for inspiring and empowering students to explore and develop their artistic potential.
  • Proficiency in a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, along with the ability to adapt lessons to accommodate different skill levels, interests, and learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents/guardians, and external partners.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to design engaging lessons, foster a supportive classroom culture, and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Be flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
  • Have a current DBS or be willing to complete a new one.
  • Be able to easily commute to Sheffield or within the South Yorkshire area.
  • Be resilient and adaptable to ensure you thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
