About the Role
Career Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a year-long placement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to supporting children’s learning, development and well-being in an inclusive and nurturing primary setting. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development
- Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
- Building positive and professional relationships with children and their families
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to plan and deliver activities
- Helping to provide high-quality education to all pupils
- Maintaining accurate records of children’s progress and development
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- A strong understanding of child development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential
- Suitable literacy and numeracy skills (English & Maths at an appropriate level)
