About the Role

Career Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a year-long placement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to supporting children’s learning, development and well-being in an inclusive and nurturing primary setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development
  • Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
  • Building positive and professional relationships with children and their families
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to plan and deliver activities
  • Helping to provide high-quality education to all pupils
  • Maintaining accurate records of children’s progress and development

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • A strong understanding of child development
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for helping children reach their full potential
  • Suitable literacy and numeracy skills (English & Maths at an appropriate level)
