Career Teachers are looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly successful and welcoming Primary School in Bexley. This full-time role is set to commence ASAP, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.

We are specifically looking for candidates with experience working with SEND students, including Autism, ADHD, behavioural issues, and more. This school prides itself on a unique and diverse learning community, and we would be looking for someone to help them in their goal to provide the best possible support in enabling pupils to achieve their best!

Role Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support children in achieving their full potential. This includes working individually or in small groups with students who have additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, and various learning difficulties. The position is available for an ASAP start and is expected to continue for the full academic year.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience of working with SEND children in primary school
  • Occupational Health Training experience (desirable)
  • Proven experience of Speech and Language
  • Proven experience of working with children with autism and/or ADD
  • Experience of working with KS2 children
