Location: Ealing
Hours: 830am to 330pm depending on lunch can be 4pm
Salary: 95 to 110 per day

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children and young people who have a range of special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support students with learning, communication, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Remain calm, flexible, and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided.
