About the Role
As a Sports Coach / Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning across a variety of subjects when teachers are absent.
While PE and sports-related lessons may form part of your timetable, you must also be confident covering general secondary subjects across KS3 and KS4.
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
- Covering PE, Games and sports-related lessons when required
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Ensuring students remain engaged and on-task throughout lessons
- Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
- Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
