We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a number of settings in the Sheffield area. This would be full time, ongoing work, supporting children in integrated sources and also mainstream classes, supporting all stages of their development. Our schools are an integral part of the communities that they serve, and we are keen to find staff who will integrate themselves within the schools whilst supporting their young people and families in a kind and compassionate manner.

The Role

  • Support children with EHCPs to flourish
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, child‑centred activities
  • Provide one‑to‑one and small group support where needed
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Support learning through play, phonics, early literacy and numeracy
  • Assist with observations, behaviour support and daily routines

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience working with SEN (preferable)
  • A level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • A warm, patient and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to commit to a full‑time, ongoing role
