Key Responsibilities:
- To work alongside the class teacher and other members of staff to maintain a meaningful, supporting and secure learning environment.
- To deliver small group/1:1 intervention.
- To be part of a classroom team, under the direction of the class teacher and or learning mentors.
- To support pupils with their personal and behavioural development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Team Teach Qualification or other positive handling experience.
- An up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service.
- Is positive, dedicated and resilient – as it is a challenging role, but can be very rewarding.
- Have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Have a calm, patient and positive approach to your work and the ability to communicate well on all levels.
