SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Career Teachers is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Romford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and making a genuine difference to their education. The role may involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential.
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
