SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Primary School, a vibrant and highly regarded school in East London, is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team from September.

The Role
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Work closely with children with ASD, MLD, and other SEND needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and personal development
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with SEN, particularly ASD and/or MLD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and adapt to individual pupil needs
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
