We’re seeking a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join a busy school in Hackney on a full‑time temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone confident supporting staff and students, managing school IT systems, and keeping technology running smoothly in an education environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- School IT support – Providing first‑line and second‑line support to staff and students across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Device management – Setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and classroom tech.
- Classroom technology – Supporting interactive whiteboards, projectors, and AV equipment.
- System upkeep – Managing user accounts, updating software, and ensuring safeguarding and security protocols.
- Troubleshooting – Diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to minimise disruption to learning.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a school or education setting (preferred but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general IT infrastructure.
