SEN Teaching Assistant - September Start

Primary School, East London

£450-£550 per week (paid weekly)

08:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with SEN needs including ASD, MLD, and related needs
  • Work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development
  • Help pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience working with SEN pupils, particularly ASD and/or MLD
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments
