Teaching Assistant Leicester City Primary School – October 2026 (x3)
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.
The successful candidate will build a positive, consistent relationship and provide support both in and out of the classroom.
Experience working with children who benefit from positive male role models, mentoring, behaviour support, or pastoral care would be advantageous.
The ability to engage pupils through activities that match their interests and learning style is essential.

The role is to provide quality Well-being, Intervention & PSHE Provision to children in our partnering local primary schools.
You will work closely with our partnering primary schools and provide 1:1 support with teachers within the school.
You will look to build instant rapport and professional relationships.
You will also support to plan and deliver fun education, activities/sports/creative play and skill based games.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to build relationships with schools.

- To understand the importance of OUTSTANDING class management
- To deliver intervention groups linked to Active Phonics and 1:1 work
You will need to be L2/L3 or Degree qualified in a sports and child workforce related qualification.
You will also need strong behaviour management skills and a patient, yet engaging manner.
