We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Leicester seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a full-time temporary position, offering the opportunity to join a supportive English department and make an immediate impact on student progress and achievement.
The Role
- Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with school policies
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school settingStrong classroom management skills
- A passion for English and raising attainment
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
