Pay: £93-£110 per day (PAYE), dependent on working hours

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience within education? Do you have a passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Waltham Forest from 1st September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, or anyone looking to build a rewarding career within education.

The Role

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Work on a one-to-one basis and with small intervention groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Help to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements

  • Be available to work full-time from 1st September 2026
  • Hold a degree in any subject
  • Have previous experience working within a UK school setting
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
