We are seeking to recruit an additional Emotional Literacy Support Assistant to work within our agency to support expanding Pastoral teams in Leicester City.
The role involves working closely with the Pastoral team to support students\' social, emotional, and mental health needs, enabling them to access their learning. You will work with individuals and small groups of students on areas such as friendships, resilience, loss and bereavement, anger management, and stress. As a frontline member of the Pastoral team, you will need skills and resilience to support students experiencing difficulties in accessing learning and managing behaviour.
The successful candidate will be able to use de-escalation techniques to maintain and foster positive relationships.
Candidates with suitable experience, motivation, and commitment are encouraged to apply for this role.
