We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional School Administrator to join a school from September. This is a full-time position supporting all aspects of school administration and operations within a busy and rewarding educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school, providing high‑quality administrative support to staff, students, parents, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the school’s reception area and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and stakeholders.
- Handling telephone, email, and face‑to‑face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate student records and databases.
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting.
- Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and transition processes.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, letters, and school communications.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and school events.
- Supporting safeguarding and compliance administration.
- Managing filing systems and ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff.
- Assisting with HR, recruitment, and staff onboarding processes.
- Undertaking general office duties to support the effective operation of the school.
About You
- Have previous administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting.
- Possess excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
