About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with inspiring pupils, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism and may have additional needs. Every child has incredible potential, and you will play a key role in helping them unlock it through tailored, engaging learning experiences. You will help prepare learning materials, support classroom activities, and provide hands-on guidance under the direction of experienced teachers. Beyond the classroom, you will support pupils' emotional and physical wellbeing, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience. No two days will be the same - you will face challenges, celebrate successes, and develop your own skills along the way. With the support of an experienced and passionate team, you will have every opportunity to grow and progress in your career.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children.
- Previous experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
- GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Compassionate, patient, and motivated.
