We are seeking a dedicated, flexible and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive Primary SEN School in Redbridge. The role involves supporting children with Autism, Social Communication Difficulties, challenging behaviours and complex needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about SEN education and making a positive difference in children's lives.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with Autism, Social Communication Difficulties, Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviours across the primary age range
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Assisting with behaviour support and emotional regulation strategies
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
  • Helping to create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children with Autism and complex needs is highly desirable
  • Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviours
  • Flexible, reliable and adaptable to meet pupils' varying needs
  • Calm, patient and resilient with a positive attitude
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • Able to commit to working for a full Academic Year.
