We are seeking a College Special Needs Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing College special needs College in Maida Vale, London. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Contract: Fixed term for one academic year (with potential to transition to permanent staff)
  • Pay: £475 to £600 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with autism and complex needs
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and life skills development
  • Support students in managing sensory, communication, and behavioural challenges
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each student progresses
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
