Our client is a well-established estate agent with a healthy Lettings Department and an unrivalled reputation in the lettings market. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Lettings Valuer to continue developing their existing rental portfolio. Successful individuals must have a proven track record as a Letting Valuer including valuing/listing, generating new business and working effectively in a fast-paced challenging environment.

The Lettings Valuer's role is predominantly carrying out letting valuations throughout Dudley, Wednesbury, Great Bridge, Sedgley, Wolverhampton, Tettenhall and out to Albrighton and all surrounding areas.

Duties will include:

  • Inspecting properties to assess condition, amenities, and location, then estimating the maximum competitive rental value.
  • Pitching to landlords to secure new instructions, handling objections, and converting market appraisals into exclusive listings.
  • Monitoring local rental yields, competitor pricing, and landlord/tenant demand to provide accurate advice.
  • Creating high-quality property descriptions, floorplans, and photographs for listings on major platforms.
  • Ensuring properties meet UK letting regulations (e.g., EPC ratings, gas safety certificates, EICR’s etc) before hitting the market.
  • Nurturing relationships with landlords, advising them on property presentation, and keeping them updated on viewing feedback.
  • Remaining compliant and up to date with the constant changes in Government legislation in order to be able to advise potential landlords.
  • Ensuring any issues or complaints are handled swiftly and effectively.
  • Strong business acumen understanding financial results against budgets.
