We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to work at our unit based just outside Wolverhampton town centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking work on a variety of cars and light commercial vehicles. The position involves working with a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality service and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and faults
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Repairs for MOT's and part/full servicing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various car and light vehicle makes and models
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology an advantage
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- MUST have full clean driving license
