Our client is a well-established, very successful, multi-branch estate and letting agents with an unrivalled reputation for delivering the highest levels of customer service. They are currently looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to oversee the lettings department and manage client relationships within their property portfolio alongside concentrating on new business development.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong time management and a proven track record in sales. The Letting Manager role offers a great opportunity to lead a very busy lettings department and ensure further growth of the lettings department.

Main duties will include:

  • Increasing the current property portfolio to maximise new revenue streams through business development.
  • Liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and external agencies to ensure excellent communication.
  • Ensuring the lettings process adheres and remains compliant with Government legislation.
  • Oversee property inspections, maintenance schedules, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Using the company software to maintain accurate records of all lettings transactions.
  • Mentor, manage and motivate the lettings team identifying and providing ongoing training.
  • Ensure the team maintains the highest levels of customer service always going the extra mile.

Skills required:

  • It would be a distinct advantage for candidates who are MARLA / Property related qualified.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the full property management cycle.
  • Experience of managing or supervising a lettings team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
  • Strong time management, organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to present effectively to portfolio landlords at all levels to gain new business.
