This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager with a background working in an ISO9001 approved mechanical engineering workshop / fabrication facility. The business designs and manufactures complex mechanical aerospace components and enclosures and are looking to expand.
The quality manager role will be fairly “hands on” and will involve managing a small team of quality inspectors and quality engineers. Day to day you will be responsible for the management and direction of the team. Knowledge of AS9100 / Aerospace and similar quality requirements is advantageous but a background working for a precision engineering business will also be essential.
Quality Manager Requirements- Quality Management experience (AS9100 and/or ISO9001)
- Experience working within a precision / mechanical engineering company
- Knowledge and experience dealing with a wide variety of quality engineering activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In depth QMS knowledge
