Our client, based just to the East of Loughborough, are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to help manage complex projects, from design through to manufacturing completion. The company are world leaders in the design and manufacturing of innovative composite and GRP.

The project manager will be responsible for managing projects to ensure on-time delivery. You will be working with both shop floor and heads of departments / project stakeholders. Exposure to project management within the motorsport/automotive market is highly advantageous and would put you in a very strong position. Additional experience working for businesses that design and supply composite parts will also be highly beneficial.

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Experience working in project management positions within the automotive or motorsport industry
  • Knowledge (or direct experience) of composite parts
  • Ability to plan, execute and track complex project stages and milestones
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong grasp of business financials and numbers
  • A certification in Prince2 project management or similar would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of any regulatory or statutory requirements relating to the automotive industry
