Overview:
This is a great opportunity for a recent STEM graduate to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury. The Engineering / Production Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the operational and manufacturing administration, planning and coordinating within the manufacturing and production team. This role will require a keen eye for detail and first-class communication skills as this position will be a key interdepartmental link.
The production controller role will suit someone with a recent STEM degree as some technical knowledge will be helpful (or at least the capacity to learn the technical elements). You will also need to have good IT skills, be reliable and able to juggle multiple simultaneous responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of engineering and/or manufacturing and production
- A STEM degree from a good university
- Any previous experience in business operations within an engineering company is an advantage but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records
- A very good eye for detail
- Driven and reliable
