This is a great opportunity for an experienced production controller / administrator to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury. The production controller / administrator will be responsible for managing the administration in a variety of key business areas. You will be dealing with the company's works orders (raising documentation, allocating, and closing), dealing with purchase orders, working with suppliers and booking in stock, as well as raising sales orders and some basic invoicing. You will also be involved in the administration and paperwork for repairs and planning production timeframes and builds. Although this sounds very full on, a large amount of this is simple and semi-automated but it does require someone with a strong eye for detail.
The production controller will be someone with some experience in a multi-functional administration role, ideally from a background in manufacturing or production. You will need to be good with IT systems, and able to pick up new ones quickly. Great communication skills are key, as well as being generally reliable. They currently use SAGE for most of their systems, however this might be changing within the next year or two.
