Location: Aylesbury area
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Motor Winding Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury. The Production Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality-focused manner.
They currently have several positions open; and this position will require experience and/or knowledge of electrical motor wiring, motor building and potting (resin impregnation). The products are a mix of electronics and small rotating mechanisms - experienced in both of these areas would be very helpful.
In terms of requirements for this motor winding technician role, they are looking for keen and attentive individuals who are looking to accelerate their learning and skill set. You will need to have good timekeeping skills, a good communicator and of course have a strong engineering and technical background.
Motor Winding Technician Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment
- Technical engineering knowledge or experience
- Experience in motor / coil winding and electrical motor building
- Resin potting / impreg experience
- A formal technical education
- Good electronics engineering skills and experience ideally on small/fine equipment
- SMT soldering skills (machine or hand manual)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records for all products dealt with
- Driven and reliable
