MATERNITY COVER CARER NEEDED (JULY 2026 - 2027)
ADDITIONAL BANK HOURS AVAILABLE, which will be ongoing beyond the maternity cover, as I'm looking to have a pool of bank carers to cover leave and sickness of my team.
START: July 2026 (training can be before this)
SHIFTS: 24-hour shifts (covering 1 - 1.5 days per week)
I'm looking for someone kind, reliable, and easy-going to come and support during this time. No experience needed, just the right attitude and willingness to learn. Full support and training will be given.
ABOUT ME:
I'm Jess, 34, live independently with Cerebral Palsy. I am non-verbal but use a talker to communicate. I like to live a very independent life, am very socially orientated, and have a busy life. I have the most spoilt puppy dog which I adore! I love going and being part of the Salvation Army, cooking and eating, spending time with my large family & friends, and enjoying music.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Based in Staines, Middlesex
- 1/1.5 days available per week (days and overnights)
- All aspects of personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Assistance with looking after my wonderful dog!
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Driving a wheelchair adapted vehicle (Renault Master)
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full in-house training will be given
- Full UK driving license (Ability to drive my large Manual Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle)
- Fluent in English
COMPETENCIES:
- Must be reliable
- Good time management skills
- Must have common sense
- A good sense of humour
SALARY: £299.70 per 24 hour shift (including a sleeping night) £14.80 per hour for additional hours
