Position: Metal Shop Operative
Location:Isleworth (West London – TW7 6ER)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary:Competitive, based on experience
Working Hours: Mon-Thru, 7:30am-5:00pm, – Fri 7:30am-1:00pm (Overtime Available]

Job Purpose:
To support the day-to-day operations of the metal fabrication shop, including assembling metal components to meet production specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as press brakes etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Perform metal cutting, drilling, and shaping tasks accurately and safely.
- Assemble fabricated metal parts using tools and equipment. (i.e. Rivet Gun, Hand Drill & Pillar Drill).
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health & safety regulations.
- Report faults or maintenance issues with machines or tools.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently.
- Follow work instructions and meet production deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a metal workshop or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of metalworking tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
