Location: Sevenoaks, Kent, with travel across the UK, predominantly London & the South East Salary: Β£33,000Β£36,000 depending on experience Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week Spatial Dimensions is looking for an experienced Measured Building Surveyor to join our growing geospatial surveying team. You will work on a varied range of land and measured building surveys across commercial, residential, heritage and public-sector projects, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and continue developing your career. The role As a Measured Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out topographical and measured building surveys using modern surveying equipment and technology. Your work will include using Trimble and Leica total stations, GNSS and Leica laser scanners, as well as processing survey data and producing accurate survey information. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of health and safety, work professionally on site and provide excellent service when dealing with clients. Strong communication skills are important, as you will regularly work with colleagues both on site and in the office, follow project instructions and liaise with clients. The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, and occasional overtime, night and weekend work may be required. What were looking for We are looking for someone with at least five years experience undertaking land and measured building surveys. You should have experience processing total station observations and point cloud data, together with strong data-management skills and a methodical approach to survey capture. Experience using CAD to produce topographical or measured building survey drawings would be advantageous. You will also need: A full clean UK driving licence A valid CSCS card Good IT skills Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work effectively as part of a team A positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous experience working in the UK and the appropriate UK visa/right to work A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Geospatial Surveying or a related field would be desirable, as would relevant health and safety qualifications. Membership, or eligibility for membership, of RICS, CICES or a similar professional body would also be beneficial.
