We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join a highly respected independent financial planning firm based in Shrewsbury. You will be joining a business that has built its reputation on technical excellence, professionalism and long-term client relationships. The firm has received numerous industry accolades, including STEP Financial Adviser Team of the Year, and was selected by NS&I to provide professional financial advice to monthly £1 million Premium Bonds jackpot winners.

Working closely with Financial Planners and Paraplanners, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning advice and maintaining outstanding client service standards.

  • Obtaining policy information and Letters of Authority
  • Maintaining accurate client records and CRM systems
  • Assisting with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and client due diligence
  • Monitoring outstanding requirements and progressing cases efficiently

About You

You will ideally have experience working within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or IFA environment and understand the importance of accuracy, client care and attention to detail.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within Financial Services Administration
  • Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products
  • Experience using financial planning platforms and back-office systems
  • A sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Cashcalc, Voyant or other cashflow modelling software

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

  • Support to attain DipFS or Chartered
  • Progression to Paraplanner or Adviser
  • Exposure to a wide range of financial planning cases

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8.45am - 5.30pm
Friday: 8.45am - 1.15pm
