We are a small, friendly team looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to support our continued growth. The Role: You will work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, carrying out repairs, diagnostics, and servicing. Unlike many dealerships, we focus on repairing rather than replacing wherever possible, including engine rebuilds and cost-effective solutions for our customers. This is a varied role that provides excellent opportunities to develop your skills and avoid repetitive work. Ongoing training and development will be provided where needed. You will be based in a fully equipped workshop using modern diagnostic equipment and specialist tools, working within a relaxed and supportive team environment.
- Carry out servicing and repairs on customer and sales vehicles
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify faults
- Complete Vehicle Health Checks
- Conduct road tests for diagnostics and quality checks
- Communicate effectively with the service team and customers
- Obtain authorisation for any additional work required
About You: Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred), minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (preferred), strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, good communication skills with colleagues and customers, passionate about the motor trade and continuous development.
Key Attributes: Team player, quality focused, honest with high levels of integrity, experience with vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics (training can be provided).
Career Development: Opportunities to progress into senior or specialist technician roles, ongoing training and upskilling, including diagnostics and advanced repair techniques, pay progression linked to skill development.
The Package: Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience), Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:15 (no weekends), company pension scheme, 20 days holiday plus.
