Care Assistants Day and Night Staff Required The Old Rectory, Ewhurst At The Old Rectory, we take pride in providing exceptional, person-centred care in a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team, with opportunities available for both day and night staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a close-knit and professional team, supporting older adults receiving nursing, respite, and rehabilitation care. Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. About the Role: As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in promoting the wellbeing, dignity, comfort, and independence of our residents. You will provide respectful, high-quality support across care, housekeeping, and dining services, helping to ensure that every resident feels valued, safe, and at home. Your duties will include: Supporting residents with personal care needs while maintaining dignity and respect at all times. Assisting residents during mealtimes and supporting individual dietary needs. Encouraging participation in daily routines, social activities, and events. Helping to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment in line with infection control standards. Working closely with care, kitchen, housekeeping, and nursing teams to provide seamless support. Observing and reporting any changes in residents wellbeing or condition to senior staff. Contributing to a warm, inclusive, and positive atmosphere within the home. You will also be expected to act as a positive role model to colleagues and support the values and standards of The Old Rectory. What Were Looking For We are looking for individuals who are: Kind, patient, and genuinely committed to improving residents quality of life. Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team. Respectful of confidentiality, professional standards, and individual choice. Able to follow clear instructions and use initiative where appropriate. Willing to complete mandatory training and continue developing their skills.
