A leading telecoms organisation is looking for a Press Office and Communications Executive to assist with building and maintaining the reputation of the organisation. The role will have a wide degree of impact externally and requires a creative thinker with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. You will need extensive press experience and a suitable skill set including press release creation, social media, website content, events and crisis management. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious PR and communications professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for being the front line of the press office inbox and social channels
- Assess all press enquiries
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to help manage and resolve press office enquiries
- Prepare daily media monitoring reports
- Maintain the online corporate communications channels
- Provide support for the rest of the corporate comms team
Requirements:
- Communications/press office experience, either agency side or in-house.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Content and social media management experience.
- An interest in media and current affairs.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities.
