Sitting within the Communications team, the Communications and PR Manager will report directly to the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager whilst working in close collaboration with all other areas of the business.
The role:
- This role will not be limited to media coverage, but it will also include speaking opportunities and drafting engaging newsletters.
- The PR Manager will be a key point of contact for all press enquiries and will therefore be required to have an in-depth understanding of the company's values and the ability to deal with journalists at all levels.
- The role will also assist in writing, managing and streamlining the company's communications, ensuring that any enquiries are dealt with efficiently and in a professional manner.
- Outstanding writing skills and experience of conveying complex subject matters in an engaging and easy to understand way are a must-have.
About you:
- You will have a confident and enthusiastic nature and the ability to communicate effectively, externally as well as internally, with stakeholders across the business.
- Possess strong analytical skills and be extremely organised to ensure the maintenance of accurate internal filing systems which will assist you in writing and sharing PR updates and reports.
- You will be responsible for planning, implementing and measuring external communications and PR activities.
- You will have previous project management and media monitoring software experience.
- Be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met.
- Have solid corporate PR experience.
- Will be responsible for seeking proactive B2B and B2C opportunities across appropriate platforms to key target audiences.
