TheOpportunity
Wearelookingforanexperienced TechnicalProgramManagertojoinanEnterpriseEngineeringteamsupportingtheglobalexpansionofroboticsandAIresearchenvironments.
Thisisahighlytechnical,high-visibilityrolefocusedondeliveringsecurenetworkandserverinfrastructurefornewresearchsitesacrosstheUK,NorthAmericaandfutureexpansionregions.
Youwillactasthebridgebetweenadvancedresearchrequirements,infrastructureengineeringandstrictsecuritymandates,takingownershipofcomplexprogrammesfrominitialdesignthroughdeploymentandtransitionintoBusinessas Usual.
Newsitescanneedtobedeliveredwithaslittleas twotothreemonths’notice,sothisrolerequiressomeonewhocancreateclarityquickly,manageambiguityandkeepcomplextechnicalprogrammesmovingatpace.
KeyResponsibilities
- Owntheend-to-endroadmapfornewroboticsandAIresearchsitedeployments.
- Leadinfrastructureprogrammesfrominitialdesignandarchitecturethroughhardwareordering,configuration,patching,testingandfinaldeployment.
- Coordinatenetwork,serverandphysicalinfrastructuredependenciesacrossmultipleregions.
- ManagethetransitionofcompletedsitesintoBAUoperations,ensuringclearownership,documentation,supportmodelsandescalationroutes.
- Applyandsupportcompliancewithstrictsecurityrequirementsforhighlysensitive“off-corp”environments.
- PartnercloselywithSeniorNetworkEngineers,InfrastructureandServerLeadsandwiderengineeringteams.
- Coordinatedeliveryacrossengineering,security,operations,suppliersandexternalpartners.
- Manageseniorstakeholdersacrossroboticsandresearchteams,includingDirectorsandVPs.
- Identifyrisksanddependenciesearly,setclearexpectationsanddrivesolutions.
- Maintaindeliveryqualitywhilenavigatingcompetingprioritiesandrapidlychangingrequirements.
RequiredExperience
- 5+yearsofTechnicalProgramManagementexperience,ideally10+years.
- Strongexperiencewithin technology,telecoms,ISP,networkinfrastructureoracomparabletechnicalenvironment.
- Deepunderstandingofthenetworkandserverhardwarelifecycle.
- Experiencemanaginginfrastructurefromdesignthroughdeployment.
- Strongknowledgeof:
