Product Communications Specialist

Rate: From £48.08 p/h Outside London, From £53.37 p/h inside London (Inside IR35)

About the Role: We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Communications specialist to join our EMEA team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product communications strategies across the region, with a key focus on telling consumer AI stories. You’ll be collaborative and dynamic, working closely with cross-functional teams around the world to craft compelling narratives, build a solid understanding of our audience and people who influence our users, and to drive coverage and content that showcases our clients commitment to innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communications plans to support key product launches, updates, and announcements using creative storytelling techniques
- Craft compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with audiences across EMEA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world, including US and central product teams, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
- Support country-specific communications efforts, working closely with local teams to develop tailored strategies
- Develop and implement social media strategies in partnership with our social teams to amplify product communications, support ongoing activity, and engage with target audiences
- Understand how to measure and analyse the success of product communications efforts, using data to inform future strategies
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in product communications, public relations, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product communications strategies in a creative industry or on consumer-facing brands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
- Strong understanding of the media and creator landscape across EMEA, with existing relationships a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing data and providing insights to inform future communications strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, social and policy
- Fluency in English, with additional language proficiency a plus (in particular Italian)
