We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Supplier Engagement Lead to join the Extended Workforce Solutions team. This role sits at the heart of supplier operations, partnering with key stakeholders, delivery teams, and strategic suppliers to ensure world-class contingent workforce management across a global environment. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted partner across the business, ensuring suppliers deliver against operational, compliance, and performance expectations while continuously improving the contingent workforce experience.
  • Lead supplier engagement activities across the Extended Workforce Solutions programme.
  • Manage relationships with approximately five strategic suppliers within a complex global organisation.
  • Drive supplier performance through robust reporting, data insights, and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Partner with business leaders and delivery teams to identify operational challenges and implement effective supplier solutions.
  • Manage escalations and resolve supplier-related issues quickly and effectively, including executive and C-suite level engagement.
  • Ensure suppliers operate within established governance, onboarding, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Deliver supplier intelligence and strategic insights to support decision-making across Alphabet-level operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, HR, Legal, Operations, and Delivery teams.
  • Support contingent workforce initiatives including onboarding, supplier governance, and partner engagement.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities within a high-volume, fast-moving environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years’ experience in supplier engagement, supplier management, MSP, or contingent workforce programmes.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk management, compliance, and performance frameworks.
  • Experience within procurement and/or workforce solutions, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Proven ability to manage strategic suppliers and drive operational performance improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to interpret supplier data and performance trends.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across global teams and managing competing priorities effectively.
