Licensing Co-ordinator

Overview
As part of the CP Team, the coordinator supports the key category & country teams in helping to deliver our global objectives and the agreed strategy for CP in EMEA and beyond:
- Currently, the country and category leads have several operational tasks and while it’s great to keep a soup-to-nuts approach, there is also a potential distraction tax from what is important in terms of account management and business development
- EMEA does not have a single coordinator in the licensing and retail side of the business, a gap that we will need to fill in the next years starting from this first resource
Key Responsibilities:
Business Support And Admin Duties
- Focus only on our Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners
- Work with Commercial and the Legal Team to assist contract entry, and ensure that a deal critical path – from business plan submission to contract full execution – is handled according to our timelines
- Help obtain quarterly sales projections from key licensees in support of the forecasting process, highlight upsides or sensitivities
- Support with Key Partner Meetings ? Help with organization (room booking, screening rooms, NDA’s giveaways)
- Trade Show Planning – London Toyfair & Nuremberg
- Invite list deadline management – BLE/Nuremberg/LIMA
Category Coordination
- Assist the team in compiling and analysing
- Retail sell-through information, in preparation of business overview reports and ad hoc analysis as necessary
- To become Circana & Euromonitor literate & generate quarterly analysis
- Competitive Performance Tracking including retailer visits etc…
- Keep licensees lists/ VLLs, and primetime lists updated, monitor the status of all activities, collect relevant data, and sharing reports internally
- Provide Country, Retail, and Marketing teams with any requested licensee/product information, in support of sales pitches, brand presentations & retail meetings
X-Regional Alignment – EMEA/ UCAN/ APAC/ LATAM
- Create a best practice network with other coordinators in the regions
- Ongoing liaison with internal market teams & agents providing information and regular updates
- Work cross-category with the Category, PD, Legal, Franchise & Retail teams, and departments to maximise synergy activity and develop opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the Licensing or marketing environment with a proven track record of solid analytical reports and sales presentations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise, meet deadlines
- Go getting team player with strong communication skills at all levels
- Multi-tasker with the ability to be flexible & hit deadlines
