The Client Partner is a partner-facing seller responsible for facilitating sales through partners rather than directly to end customers. Primary responsibilities typically include:
- Closing deals sourced via inbound, outbound, ISVs, resellers, retail, etc.
- Collaborating with Channel Sales Managers and the appropriate cross-functional teams to remove internal roadblocks preventing us from closing deals and accelerating sales cycles.
- Collaborating with Solution Architects to address product-related issues blocking deals and provide product feedback.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of industry experience in partnerships and sales.
Top 3 must-have skills:
- Written and verbal German proficiency is key.
- Salesforce competency.
- Outbound sales experience.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Marketing and demand generation: Collaborate with partners on driving awareness and uptake of joint marketing campaigns, co-branded materials, and demand-generation efforts.
- Help partners effectively market the solution to end customers.
- Represent the company at key partner events and key industry events to drive awareness and demand generation.
- Gather and relay feedback from partners about market conditions, customer concerns, or product issues to improve the offering.
Reporting and forecasting: Provide accurate and timely reports on partner sales activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to management. Ensure that sales forecasts align with overall business goals.
