Overview
Our client is a global, iconic tech brand and are looking for an External Communications Manager to support its EMEA communications work. The role focuses on creating clear, engaging content, supporting media relations, and helping shape the organisation’s external reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create press releases, pitches, blog posts, social content, and presentations.
- Draft responses to media enquiries and manage information requests.
- Track campaign performance and use insights to improve comms strategy.
- Support external PR campaigns, especially around entertainment and creators.
- Work with in‑country PR teams to land stories in local markets.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams across Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and leadership.
- Act as a spokesperson for specific business areas when needed.
Skills & Experience
- Manage communications related to entertainment and creators for EMEA.
- Draft narratives, press releases, blog posts, pitches, FAQs, etc.
- Brief spokespeople and staff interviews.
- Devise and execute creative PR campaigns to drive awareness, usage and excitement around video media.
- Work with our in-country PR teams to help land stories that highlight creators in local and consumer outlets.
- Work closely with our global and regional comms teams to create EMEA-specific communications materials that showcase creativity on video media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and leadership teams in Europe and the US, to influence and execute strategic plans and launches.
