Our high‑profile tech client seeks a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead to support UK and French territory and will report to both Country Managers. This role requires office presence in London, with frequent travel to Paris.
In this role you will lead the strategic business partnership activities in the territory and collaborate closely with the Partnerships, BizOps, Supply, Marketing, Comms, Finance and Legal functions in the territory and across EMEA.
The Difference You Will Make- Partner closely with global brand, partnership, marketing, legal, finance and product teams to develop and execute local partnerships.
- Ability to negotiate agreements, discuss structure, terms and ensure brand alignment.
- Identify opportunities for establishing partnerships and business‑development activities that support our business goals into 2026.
- Model the financial and strategic impact of partnerships, defining and tracking KPIs to measure partnership success and report results to senior leadership.
- Ensure excellent execution and ongoing management of partnership and business‑development activities and seamless coordination across all business areas.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners and collaboration opportunities.
- 8–12+ years of experience in partnership‑related role (e.g. Business Development, Partner Management) ideally gained within a marketplace brand or high‑profile sports or travel brand.
- Growth‑obsessed with deep business acumen to conduct extensive market research and anticipate product and business needs.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills – ability to connect dots and proactively develop proposals and solutions.
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills, basic data science skills are a plus.
- Proven partnership management experience.
- Knowledge of the local culture and environment as crucial in fostering successful local partnerships; ability to build relationships and influence internal executive stakeholders and build long‑term external relationships with new and existing partners.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Able to deal with complexity and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Experience working with / in France is a strong plus as some French literacy.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: you remain persistent and optimistic when faced with setbacks and you love to tackle complex problems to find solutions that make our host’s and guests’ lives easier.
- Excellent communicator across all functions and management levels and you naturally take the lead aligning stakeholders when viewpoints diverge.
