CMG are excited to be partnering with a global tech leader who are looking for a finance/data analyst to join their team on a temp basis. THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION SO CANDIDATES MUST BE ON SHORT NOTICE.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll build powerful financial models, sharpen forecasting, and use SQL to turn complex data into clear insights that guide critical decisions across Finance, Product, and Sales teams. You’ll drive and optimize core processes governance, reporting, dashboards, SOX controls while streamlining workflows, speeding up execution, and elevating financial clarity across international operations. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across regions, anticipate risks, solve complex problems, and influence leaders with data‑backed recommendations. Drawing on deep FP&A or Business Finance expertise, you help shape plans, support project success, and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality. Responsibilities
- Build, define, and maintain complex financial models that track direct and allocated spend, planning, and forecasting across multiple product or finance areas.
- Review large datasets, extract relevant insights, identify trends, and provide recommendations that support operational excellence and revenue growth.
- Create, deliver, and present financial reporting for products, markets, or Finance teams, offering data‑driven insights and high‑impact recommendations to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Coordinate multi‑component change‑management activities and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Lead project planning, timeline estimation, status reporting, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
- Manage project workstreams and drive cross‑functional working groups to deliver results.
- Provide guidance to teams to identify, mitigate, and escalate risks when needed.
- Build strong relationships across the Finance organization to align priorities and deliverables.
- Contribute to broader organizational initiatives, including recruiting, diversity programs, and community events.
