Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Benefits Specialist to support high‑visibility benefits programmes across Europe, with a particular focus on the Nordics and Eastern Europe. This role will be responsible for driving benefits strategy, programme delivery, compliance, vendor coordination, employee communications, and continuous improvement across multiple markets. The successful candidate will act as a subject‑matter expert for benefits plan administration and will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure programmes are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the wider total rewards strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the creation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of benefits programmes across European markets.
- Support benefits activity across the Nordics and Eastern Europe.
- Build business cases, manage programme plans, support budgets, and coordinate vendor‑related activities.
- Participate in benefits surveys and benchmarking to provide market‑driven insights.
- Ensure benefits programmes comply with relevant local regulations and best‑practice requirements.
- Audit and review benefits enrolments, processes, and data accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify needs, gather feedback, and gain alignment on benefits initiatives.
- Support the development and rollout of benefits strategy across the region.
- Create clear employee communications to improve understanding and engagement with benefits and wellbeing offerings.
- Act as a benefits SME and provide guidance to junior team members or cross‑functional partners where required.
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, or a closely related HR function.
- Strong benefits administration and benefits programme management experience.
- Experience working across European benefits markets.
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance and local market practices.
- Experience with healthcare, life insurance, disability insurance, absence coverage, payroll deductions, and retirement or pension‑related benefits.
- Strong HR systems knowledge.
- Proven HR project management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, complex, matrixed environment.
Highly Desirable
- Benefits experience across the Nordics and/or Eastern Europe.
- Background in Big Tech or a large multinational technology environment.
- Additional European languages, particularly Nordic or Eastern European languages.
- Experience with onsite healthcare benefits.
