Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to develop, evaluate, test, and maintain scalable data solutions that drive strategic business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes, build robust data pipelines, and deliver insightful dashboards that support key decision-making within their Business Messaging Experiences team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data management systems.
- Develop ETL processes and high-performance data algorithms.
- Build and maintain dashboards to visualize insights and track trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DE, DS, Product, Engineering) to identify process and data improvements.
- Own projects end-to-end — from design to deployment.
- Create technical design documentation and participate in regular reviews.
Skills and Experience:
- SQL: 5+ years of hands-on experience.
- Python: 5+ years of experience developing data pipelines and solutions.
- ETL & Data Modelling: Strong understanding of best practices and optimization techniques.
- Data Visualization: Ability to design dashboards that effectively communicate complex insights.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/STEM field.

- Team Structure: 4 Data Engineers based in London.
- Manager: Contractor will report directly to the hiring manager.
- Collaboration: Frequent interaction with partner Monetization teams, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineers.
- Work on the “Non-Supply” pillar (e.g., authentication, utility, marketing messages).
- Develop measurement tools for in-app browser performance.
- Build pipelines, data models, and dashboards.
