A highly regarded Professional Services firm is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to play a strategic and hands-on role within a high-performing HR function. Reporting directly into the HR Director, this role will be responsible for shaping and delivering impactful people initiatives across the fee earning groups. You will drive the people strategy through data-informed decisions, support organisational growth, and act as a trusted advisor to leaders. This is a role for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels, influencing change and designing solutions that make a measurable difference.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver the people and talent strategy aligned to departmental and business plans.
  • Lead or support change initiatives and contribute to firm-wide HR projects.
  • Coach senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor on complex people issues.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise structures and roles.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex ER issues, including early intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Work across HR centres of expertise to implement talent initiatives.
  • Use data insights to anticipate future skills, capacity requirements and succession planning needs.
  • Support performance reviews and promote fair, consistent decision-making.
  • Partner with Reward on annual compensation processes.
  • Collaborate with L&D and senior leaders to identify development needs and opportunities.
  • Support the growth of top talent and diverse pipelines.
  • Work with Recruitment to align hiring plans with business needs and enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Use people analytics and exit data to identify trends and improve attraction, retention and engagement.

The successful person will have:

  • Proven experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders within a Partnership environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, credibility and professional impact.
  • Experience coaching and developing HR team members.
  • Solid employee relations experience within a professional services environment.
  • Strong communication, project management and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and best-practice HR trends.
  • Resilience, discretion, commercial awareness and a collaborative working style.
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) preferred.
