Duties:
- Lead the identification, assessment, and selection of suppliers to secure highâquality goods and services at optimal commercial terms.
- Develop productive, longâterm supplier relationships to support consistency, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Shape and execute procurement plans that support the organisation's strategic priorities while adhering to internal policies and external regulations.
- Ensure all sourcing activity meets ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
- Track and evaluate spending patterns, highlighting opportunities to drive efficiencies and reduce overall cost without compromising performance or quality.
- Recommend costâoptimisation initiatives based on dataâdriven insights.
- Partner closely with crossâfunctional teams to understand business requirements and ensure procurement solutions meet operational needs.
- Influence stakeholders to promote bestâpractice procurement processes.
- Identify and address risks across the supply base, including sustainability, ethical compliance, and business continuity considerations.
- Support the organisation's responsible procurement objectives.
- Produce clear, accurate procurement reports and dashboards, using analytics to guide decisionâmaking and enhance procurement effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements.
Skills:
- At least 3 years' experience in procurement or category management within a dynamic, international environment.
- Background in indirect procurement, ideally covering areas such as: Professional Services, Travel, Human Resources, Real Estate, Facilities, External Audit, Telecommunications, Marketing, Data, insights, and subscription services.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering sourcing strategies that improve supplier performance and reduce cost.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing principles, contract negotiation, and supplier governance.
- Experience working with ERP platforms and within global procurement structures or multinational supplier networks.
- Excellent communication and relationshipâbuilding skills, with the ability to collaborate across varied teams and cultures.
- Proficient in financial evaluation and costâanalysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree and/or a professional procurement qualification such as MCIPS.
