Synopsis Writer (Contract, Remote UK)

A world leading streaming entertainment service is seeking a versatile and creative English writer to join our Creative Writing Strategy team. You’ll help members discover stories they’ll love by crafting concise, engaging synopses for movies and TV shows.

What you’ll do:

  • Write compelling synopses for UK, US, and occasionally European titles.
  • Collaborate with editors to deliver accurate, inclusive, and creative copy.
  • Research and adapt content to resonate with diverse audiences.

What we’re looking for:

  • Native-level English writing and editing skills (knowledge of other European languages is a plus).
  • 3+ years’ experience in journalism, editorial, blogging, or creative writing focused on film/TV.
